How do I take the medicine?

Tablets are absorbed by mouth. Take before eating to avoid food or drink interfering with their absorption.
Tablets should not be handled.Tip the tablets into the cap of the container.
Drop into mouth and suck or chew tablets. Do not eat/drink for approximately 5 minutes.

For babies crush tablet into powder between two teaspoons. Pour onto tongue.



How often do I take the medicine?

Your homeopathic prescription will be labelled with dose instructions. Dosage varies between a few doses of high potency medicine to continuous low potency medicine. For self-treatment of acute conditions take a dose every 2 hours for up to 6 times in one day. Thereafter take dose three times per day until better.


How quickly does it work?

Recent or acute conditions should improve within hours. Long-term or chronic conditions should improve within 2 weeks. Initially this may be experienced as a feeling of “well-being”. If there is no change in symptoms after 4 weeks an alternate medicine should be considered.


When do I stop taking the medicine?

When improvement of symptoms is noted increase the interval between doses. If the improvement continues stop the dosing altogether. If the symptoms recur restart the medicine.


Do homeopathic medicines have any side effects?

Homeopathic medicines are safe, non-toxic, non-addictive with no side effects. Occasionally symptoms can worsen upon starting the medicine. This aggravation of symptoms is normally an indication that the medicine is working. Simply stop the dosing while the aggravation lasts then restart treatment when it passes.


Are homeopathic medicines safe in childhood and pregnancy?

Homeopathic medicines can not harm a child or baby. If your child should accidentally
take all the tablets from a container it will do no harm. Unlike many conventional medicines
homeopathic medicines are completely safe in pregnancy.


Can homeopathic medicines be taken with ordinary medicines?

Homeopathic medicine will not interact or interfere with the action of conventional medicines prescribed by your GP. Dose reduction of conventional medicine may be possible but should only be attempted under strict supervision of the practitioner.
